September is one of my favorite months of the year. And not just because it's my birthday month, either. We get the kickoff of football season, which always gets me excited.

We also get a new season I've begun to look forward to more and more the past several years, and that's the beginning of the fall network TV season.

In the past few years, I've enjoyed new shows like Blindspot, The Good Place and This Is Us, and I've been disappointed with cancellations of shows like Pitch and Conviction.

This year, I'm stoked to give a few other new shows a test drive, and I'm happy for a few returning shows. It'll also be weird to not have one of my favorites for several years as I must wait on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Here is a short rundown of what I'm looking forward to watching this year on network TV, and just for kicks, I threw in other shows in my queue for Netflix and Amazon Prime, as well.

- How To Get Away With Murder

- Manifest

- Modern Family

- This Is Us

- Family Guy

- Neighbor

- Marvel shows on Netflix: Jessica Jones S2, Luke Cage S2, Iron First S2, Daredevil S3

- Altered Carbon

- Electric Dreams

- Jack Ryan
